Kimberly Colletti

The Client

Interior Designer Kimberly Colletti, the owner and principal designer at KC Design Group re-built and designed this beautiful, warm-modern transitional home in the South Bay.

Known for her broad range of styles, commitment to quality and attention to detail, Kimberly Colletti has been designing high end residential and commercial spaces for over two decades. Whether it’s Spanish Colonial, or Midcentury modern, Tuscan, or Mediterranean, Kimberly has done it, and her widely diverse portfolio of design styles is one of the things that sets her apart in the design industry.

Kimberly has been working with PIRCH for nearly a decade. After moving to Southern California from Scottsdale, Arizona, she began building a house in Pelican Crest with the help of builder Mike Reeves. Through Mike, she met PIRCH Sales Consultant Annette Reeves, and she has worked with Annette on all her projects ever since.

“I always turn to Annette Reeves from PIRCH. She has more knowledge about plumbing fixtures and appliances than anyone I have ever met in the industry. She really makes it fun, and she makes it safe because I know she’ll take good care of me, and what I know about PIRCH, that’s what you get with all of their Sales Associates. Everyone is amazing.”

This beautiful 4-bedroom, 3 bath home she designed is nestled in the hills of the South Bay and features incredible panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles, spanning all the way to Long Beach and the Santa Monica Bay.

Kitchen:

For the kitchen, Kimberly’s goal was to create a warm, beautiful, transitional space. “I love mixing masculine and feminine elements to create a really cool vibe for the interiors.” says Colletti. She continues, “So, you’ll see that it isn’t super modern, not traditional but rather a warm-modern aesthetic.”

In terms of kitchen appliances, Kimberly chose Sub-Zero Wolf & Cove. Family owned, and family run for over three generations, the Sub-Zero, Wolf & Cove brand remains committed to refining and mastering the world’s finest refrigeration and cooking appliances. “I typically choose Sub-Zero Wolf. They have proven to me to be one of the best brands in the market. My clients love the product, I never have problems with them, and they’re aesthetically beautiful,” Colletti remarks.

According to Kimberly, “They are great for both beginner chefs and advanced chefs. I love that it is a multitude of user-friendly products that everyone can be comfortable working with in the kitchen.”

For the kitchen, Kimberly also chose a Blanco IKON Apron Front sink and a California Faucets Contemporary style single handle faucet in polished nickel for a clean, sleek, modern look.

Bar:

The home also features a stunning bar area, complete with a mirrored tile backsplash and Sub-Zero wine refrigeration.

Bath:

The bathrooms in the home have a clean, bright design with warm natural wood tones brought in through the cabinetry.  “I wanted to keep the bathrooms in the house very light and warm at the same time, but I wanted to bring a sexiness and a moodiness,” explains Kimberly.

The tub Kimberly selected for the primary bath is a Barclay bathtub. The tub is the centerpiece of the space, sitting right between the primary bedroom and primary bathroom, next to the fireplace, with an incredible view of the city of Los Angeles, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

“It was important for me to make the bathtub a little bit of the main attraction in style and aesthetic, but not take away from the incredible views that you’ll see once you’re using it and enjoying a glass of wine.” notes Colletti.

The primary bathroom also features a Mr. Steam steam shower, as well as a Samuel Heath shower rose.

For all the bathroom sinks in the home, Kimberly chose Kallista, a brand known for creating sophisticated bath fixtures that transform bath and powder spaces. The primary bathroom features Riobel faucets from House of Rohl to continue the sleek, modern look.

She also chose TOTO wall hung toilets for all the bathrooms throughout the home. The TOTO brand is known for offering toilets that are made to center and ground the spaces they inhabit, offering a gorgeous aesthetic that both elevates and enhances the flow and design of your bathroom space.

At PIRCH, we love to help our clients bring their dream homes to life.

Kimberly concludes “I love working with PIRCH, and I would encourage anyone out there who’s remodeling, building a new home, or working with designers, please stop in and speak to their sales consultants because it will be an unbelievable experience. Shout out to PIRCH because thank you for making this all possible, and for your great care and guidance along the way!”
