Utilizing techniques such as plating, distressing, antiquing, burnishing, and waxing, their craftsmen make each item by order. Each item is carefully inspected and thoughtfully packaged to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency.
Hardware can be customized using wood finishes for inlays, and even precision CNC engraving of initials.
Finishes
The selection of finishes include metals that are polished, satin, burnished, antiqued, weathered, as well as PVD and extended life finishes.
Water Street also makes the largest variety of PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finishes in the decorative hardware industry. PVD is a process that ensures a longevity in finishes second to none. Common uses include coastal applications, exterior hardware and high traffic areas.
They also offer hand-hammered pieces, ancient method of altering the surface of a workpiece by the use of a small hammer and blunt tools similar to chisels.
Similar to PVD finishes, powder-coated finishes are very durable. Water Street is able to provide a large range of powder-coated finishes accurately matched to RAL colors.
